Callsign

AFN’s net control station (NCS) callsign is ZL3EQ.

This callsign may be used without permission by any AFN member assuming the role of net control station during a real disaster event.

As soon as practicable after commencing use during a disaster, the AFN member must inform the Callsign Trustee.

Use of callsign ZL3EQ at all other times, including training nets requires written permission from the Callsign Trustee prior to use.
