VarAC: 7.105 MHz between 1200 and 1800 NZT

VarAC Exercise

Base Stations

If you operate a VarAC base station with email gateway, please transmit advanced beacon mode on 7.105 MHz calling frequency for as many hours as possible between 1200 - 1800 NZT on the first Sunday of the month.

This will permit other stations to connect to your station and send an exercise email message.

Base and Field Stations

At any time beween 1200 - 1800 NZST on the first Sunday of the month, connect to a station with an email gateway and send the exercise message below.

Station ZL3PWM has an email gateway and is usually available for sending and receiving exercise and test messages.

All stations should enable AUTO QSY to change to a working frequency once connection is established.
